Galway English Academy

Negative experience: Not recommended. The lessons are supposed to last one hour and a half, but they often last less (also 20 minutes shorter!) because the teacher arrives late and ends the lesson early. Despite this, the full price for a 1.5-hour lesson is still charged, which shows little respect for the money students spend and for their time. In addition, the lessons are not well structured, and it can happen that 30–45 minutes are spent talking about random topics before the lesson actually starts. Another issue is the support service. When I reported on WhatsApp that one lesson had lasted much less than expected, they replied in a rather unmotivated way and then never followed up. The only positive experience I had was with another teacher: the two lessons I had with her were better organized and respectful of the scheduled time. Overall, the organization leaves a lot to be desired and the attention given to students/clients is quite low.

See you soon, hopefully! "SimonB"

Negative experience: Very bad attitude towards potential foreign students. Calls and letters are answered by the owner, who is probably not afraid of losing her job and is therefore rude. In responses to comments, she allows herself to laugh at people, and then covers up negative comments with comments from friends or employees. This comment will probably be covered up with the help of friends or employees. Response to the comment from the school: Of course I am not your student, you are not interested in long-term students and providing results for students. You are betting on short trainings of 7-10 days that are guaranteed not to give results for the student and this is known to everyone who has ever studied a language. You make money on short trainings without results. I will never recommend your school or your teaching methodology to anyone.

Fantastic experience: The best english Academy in Galway. Special mention to Rhys
