Negative experience: The school has not sent my money for 5 months, Turks stay away from this school, if your visa is refused, they will not give your money. This school is making people suffer.

Fantastic experience: Hi guys, Happy New Year! All the best and good luck for your future studies! Let me share my experience I have had with IHGalway. The main feature of the school is a cosy and comfortable athmosphere there, which so important, especially when you are so far from your home. The athmosphere is not a just a thing or a word, there are people who make it. It begins from administration staff who really help you with all new things you are facing at the arrival in Galway, from providing all convenient and well equipped classes, which is basic thing for studying process, and continues (not ends) with attitude of the teachers, their dedication and endeavour to deliver to us all their knowledge and skills in order we feel confident speaking English. Additionally, it worth to say there are many interesting and I would say educational social activities which school provides in class off time includes Irish dances, even studying Irish language. Being surrounded this incredible athmosthere, putting my efforts in studying English everyday, I felt that my English became more rich, I began almost automatically think on English when I speak out. And I really happy with that. Furthermore, I met many interesting students in the school some of who we are became friend with and hanging out after classes). By the way, I love that school is located in very centre of the city, on the Eyre Square, there are all emedities on a hand, plus I usually ride a bike and right in front of the school there is a ruck parking for bicycles. I really satisfied with my choice, with knowledge and experience I have got within school. And Yes, I certainly can say IH Galway is a cool school. I wish the school many sound students and new development as a institution.

Fantastic experience: I have been studying here for 3 years now. My progress in learning English I can consider astonishing. I had to studying online for 2 years because of the pandemic, but then finally I could go to Galway. I am from Kazakhstan and can say that my way of visa processing, the long way here was worth it. Both online and face-to-face classes, I enjoyed a lot. I was taught by excellent teachers who will find an approach to any student of different ages and interests. Administartion of school always ready to help you at any difficult and controversial moments, and with almost any question. Fantastic experience: Hace medio año decidí irme a mejorar mi inglés a Irlanda, concretamente a Galway. Para ello, elegí la academia de IH, ya que me habían hablado muy bien de ella, y efectivamente así fue. Es una academia situada en el centro de la ciudad, pequeñita y acogedora. El grupo de profesores y profesionales tanto de administración como de dirección son geniales. Gente joven dispuesta a ayudarte en todo lo que haga falta y con un trato cercano que te hacen olvidar su puesto de trabajo convirtiéndose incluso en tus amigos. Gracias a ellos el primer mes lo pasé en una casa increíble con una señora que hasta me ayudó a encontrar el que fué mi trabajo por todos esos meses. Y en cuanto al método de enseñanza me gustó mucho porque hacíamos mucha interacción con nuestros compañeros en clase y eso hacía que te soltases bastante a la hora del speaking. Os la recomiendo 100%.

Nosotros somos una pareja de argentina que llegamos con mi novia ya hace un año. Llegamos sin saber nada de Irlanda o de galway y nuestro inglés mejoro muchísimo llegamos al nivel que queríamos y gracias a eso pudimos trabajar y vvir con la gente local sin ningún problema, Leo que es una de las personas que trabaja en IH nos ayudó mucho siempre vamos a estar muy agradecidos por como nos ayudaron con absolutamente todo nos hicieron sentir en casa por más que estamos tan lejos mil gracias.

Fantastic experience: My experience in Galway has been absolutely amazing! The school is in the centre of Galway and in Galway you can find an incredible atmosphere where you can feel immediately at home. The locals are friendly and always happy to help you. The accommodation the school gave me was near the city centre and I had the opportunity to share this wonderful experience with different other students from every part of the world. The teachers and all the stuff has been really king and friendly since the first day I was there; moreover, the school organizes trips and a lot of different activities to socialize with the others students and to visit the stunning landscapes of the Wild Atlantic Coast. Don't miss them! As far as my teachers are concerned, I cannot find the words to thank them; they have been extremely professional, but at the same time really friendly and I felt at ease from the very beginning. I would like to recommend this experience to everyone and I'm sure you will fall in love with Galway and with International House Galway.

Fantastic experience: I can only have good words and an excellent valuation for IHG. The school is very well located in the beautiful city center of Galway. The building and facilities and very nice, with bright and spacious classrooms. From my experience, I can say that staff is always friendly, available and resolute. Even if they didn't have a specific learning scheme for kids, they proposed a very well adapted one-to-one lesson for my 10 years old son. He enjoyed the lessons very much and learned a lot with great teachers Arlene and Laila. Additionally, the accommodations are in good conditions and well located. I absolutely want to repeat the experience next year and recommend it thoughtfully.

Fantastic experience: Now that the last week of the CELTA is done (and we all passed--hurray!), I'm marveling at what a tremendous program IH has put together. I come from the world of writing centers, which tend to be warm, friendly, helpful places where students and their needs are taken seriously. I've found that same kind of environment at IH Galway, where people from many different backgrounds come together to learn from each other. As a CELTA candidate, I got to teach English to people from Ukraine, Somalia, Brazil, and Spain, and they taught me to be a better teacher of English. I tend to think the best evidence of a program's success isn't test scores (though those have their place), but the joy people experience while working together. At IH, the tutors, CELTA candidates, and students all work our butts off, but we also laugh and joke a lot--in a lot of different accents!

Negative experience: Nothing good to say about this school my friend went in there last year and left. The girl at the reception was mean no communication or understanding whatsoever. Waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: I took live online English classes with International House Galway for several months in 2020. It was an excellent experience. Our teacher (Claire) was very professional, friendly, and used online teaching tools to always keep us engaged. The classes were well organised and I got to practice reading, writing, listening and speaking in English. We often worked in groups or pairs, which really bonded the whole class and we all felt connected, despite the physical distance. IH Galway has a caring environment that encourages development. There is also a social programme which allows you to meet with students form other IH schools from all over the world, and learn about things such as photography, mindfulness or even karate. I intend to re-enrol in the future, as I know that I can trust the IH Galway team to help me achieve my goal of successfully passing the C1 exam
