One of the unique features of Bridge Mills Galway Language Centre is its location in The Bridge Mills, an 18th century mill situated on the River Corrib in the centre of Galway. From the school windows there is a superb view of the river below with its colonies of swans and wild birds, and in the distance, Galway Bay and the hills of Co. Clare. The school began in 1987 as a small group of teachers wishing to bring academic excellence and a high standard of personal attention to students visiting from overseas to study English in Galway. Over the past 30 years we have expanded to our present year-round, adult school of 20+ teachers and on average 150 students per week (full and part-time), but we have never forgotten the principles of the ea

Fantastic experience: Very good school, I spend 6 days on intensive English course + CLIL methodology and it was great. We tried 4 different teachers and methods of learning. The area of Galway is great, we were lucky and had nice weather!

Positive experience: Positivo: -Ambiente escolar muito bom. -Professores em sua maioria muito bem preparados. -Staff muito amigável. Negativo: -Intransigência - Há uma tolerância de apenas 5 minutos de atraso para evitar a dedução na frequência. Além do mais, não há possibilidade de apresentação de atestado médico para justificar falta e evitar a dedução. Conforme já pesquisei, estes dois fatos podem ser contornados em outras escolas.

Fantastic experience: Avevo letto tante recensioni e ero indecisa su cosa scegliere. Felice di aver scelto questa scuola. Sin dall’inizio erano stati disponibili, amichevoli. Al secondo giorno fanno il tour nelle circostanze per fare conoscere la zona. Ho conosciuto persone fantastiche che tutt’ora mantengo i rapporti e ci eravamo rivisti al di fuori dall’Irlanda. Fra un po’ andrò a trovare un’amica che si trova dall’altra parte del mondo. Posto accogliente, insegnanti ironici. Come prima esperienza, indimenticabile ))

Negative experience: Unprepared staff and disorganised school. Dirty bathrooms, computers doesn’t work and the library is a joke. Old building w/ a bad structure. Study anywhere else but not in Bridge Mills

Fantastic experience: Used to go there a few years ago. All the staff is magical, they are so nice, so friendly. You learn in a safe place where no mocking or pressure is involved. Highly recommend! Still love the "hamlet" word I learn as one of the teacher lives in an hamlet, not your everyday use word but I display it any chance I get! And 2 sheep is still sheep not sheeps (chips). Sincerely loving how you learn in this place! Go there

Negative experience: Don't be fooled, just because this school is in Europe doesn't mean it's good. I've been in classes there, and the methods they use are of the lowest class decency you can find. Finding out later in other schools they have told me about the bad reputation of Bridge Mills. My iPhone has been hacked and even my bank account has been hacked, my money has been stolen and all the registration money has been stolen. I do not recommend going to this school at all. Go to any other school in Ireland except Bridge Mills.

Fantastic experience: My daughter studied here last July and she had a wonderful experience with a good improuvement of her level of English. Also the family was Bert professional and they took care of her. She wanted to come back asap and continue te e studies.

Fantastic experience: École magnifique, les professeurs sont très professionnels et fort sympathiques. Les tarifs sont corrects, personnellement j'ai pris une formule, avec un hébergement en famille.La famille est top, dans une belle maison et très bien situé dans un beau quartier. L'école est au centre ville où tous est à portée de main.Je recommande vivement cette école et compte y revenir dès que possible.

Fantastic experience: Estuve un par de meses en esta academia y sólo tengo elogios. Los profesores son de lo mejorcito y la escuela en general está bien. A parte, hay muchas actividades para conocer gente. La administración ayuda en lo que necesites. Repetiré la experiencia
