Fantastic experience: Fiz o programa de intercâmbio, escola sempre com muito suporte! Recomendo!

Negative experience: We had serious issues with the accommodations. I would not recommend, my daughter was put in an unsafe position and refused to refund rent after she moved out. I would give zero stars if possible.

Negative experience: Não seria a minha escolha novamente por vários motivos, entre os quais se destacam: a discrepância na qualidade dos professores, com alguns sendo simplesmente péssimos; a falta de atenção à evolução individual dos alunos e suas deficiências que precisam ser trabalhadas; o horário de término das aulas, que se sobrepõe às oportunidades de trabalho; e a localização, já que as oportunidades de trabalho estão mais no centro da cidade.

Negative experience: A ver como lo explico bien para que no le ocurra a nadie mas. Te venden una maravilla de colegio (de los mejores), lo primero que te hacen es una prueba del nivel, ( cosa normal), dependiendo del nivel......y no de ingles (€€€) te van adecuando tu estancia, siempre empezando por el mas basico para sacarte TODO lo que puedan. Cuando empiezas a darte cuanta del engaño, te van subiendo de nivel. Pero ahora viene lo bueno, tu mandas a tus hijos creyendo lo que la agencia te vende. En mi caso, una habitación con baño individual, en chalet recien restaurado, muy cerquita del colegio, que se llega dando un corto paseo al lado del mar, todo muy agradable. La realidad....andando se tarda más de 1 hora, si se coge autobus, hay que hacer trasbordo, entre el trafico y demás, pues se va casi tambien otra hora. Una vez que realizas el primer pago....la habitación individual con baño ya no EXISTE, te colocan en una habitación con baño compartido, eso si, te devuelven la diferencia. Una vez allí, se encuentra una habitación de 2x3 con una cama de 80 cm, con un armario escobero de 40 cm y un mueblecito con tres cajones, que no se podia abrir porque daba en la cama. Tras muchas quejas, pusieron, una mesa, una silla de juguete, puesto que no cabía otra cosa y un flexo para estudiar. Nos volvimos a quejar al colegio para que la acercasen más, contestando que no tenían habitaciones mas cerca, que las dejaban para gente que estaban poco tiempo ( mi hija ha estado 7 meses, lo lógico es que la hubiesen tenido más comoda para que siguiese alli) pero no, no te hacen la vida facil. Otra cosa importante, yo pregunté que si había mucha gente de habla hispana y me dijeron que no, TODO MENTIRA, es lo que mas hay. Podría seguir contando más cosas, pero lo voy a reducir en pocas palabras NO RECOMENDABLE POR NADA DEL MUNDO.

Negative experience: Good teachers, BUT they are taking advantage out of the international students. Marians Lodge is / was just horrible to stay, I felt like in the film American horror story. Unbelievable! The receptionists at school are quite unfriendly and dont care at all! I got a shared room which was extremely dirty when I moved in! My roommate was already staying there for 2 months and nobody has cleaned at all! The kitchen was super small and there is no other place like a living room. Especially if there are 10 people living!! The old lady was totally overwhelmed, lying all the time and switched off the hot water to save money. So it was not possible to take a hot shower in the morning! When room nr 9 took a shower, it was dripping out of a leak (in the celling) in front of room nr 4. All bathrooms were molding and to fix it, they are just painting the celling again! Thats very dangerous for the health! A friend of mine is allergic to dogs and was placed in house with dogs, nobody cared about, because there was no other accomodation left. At least I have met many nice people there, but the experience was very negative. Now I'm in Malta and life is much better here instead of staying at this horrible accomodation! Choose your school wisely!

Fantastic experience: Ótima escola, recebe alunos do mundo todo, possuem uma boa recepção aos alunos, explicam tudo direitinho, se preocupam com as documentações para quem é imigrante, sempre estão dispostos pra tirar nossas dúvidas e nos ajudar em tudo!

Fantastic experience: Estoy eternamente agradecido a esta escuela, fui estudiante durante 2014 y me gustó tanto la experiencia que volví a repetir en 2016. Después trabajé en mi profesión que es la enfermería en ese país. Quiero dejar claro dos cosas: 1-el inglés, como el español o cualquier otra lengua, no se aprende sin esfuerzo. Si no vas bajo esta premisa ahórrate ir a la escuela. Hay grandísimos profesores como Ann, no sé si estará aún pero me acuerdo que tenía un método de "bucear por el Mar del inglés", excelente, se aprende con esta profesora lo que no te puedes imaginar. 2- respecto a estudiar en Irlanda y en Galway en particular. No sé cómo la gente tiene la obsesión de ir a Londres o a reino Unido, siendo Irlanda un país donde hay una paz y un bienestar social que no tiene ningún país en Europa. Ni suiza ni nada de eso. Y Galway es la cima de la montaña. Yo solo tengo palabras de agradecimiento para los galwegians, gente honesta, trabajadora y que no se mete en la vida de los demás. Estimados compatriotas de españa, sed humildes y trabajadores y este país os dará el resto. España premia la vagancia como sabéis regando de pagas a gente que se hace la impedida, Irlanda premia al que trabaja y lucha por mejorar.

Fantastic experience: Studying English at GCI has been one of the best decisions, I have ever made. The teachers are amazing, the classmates are from all around the world and of course the view from the classroom to the Wild Atlantic is next level!

Negative experience: The school itself is good and the teachers too. However, they put me in a very bad acommodation. In the contract says that every stund accommodation has a laundry special, its clean and etc etc etc, what wasn't my case. I had to spend money doing my laundry, clean my room because it was a messy when I arrived and when I tried to contact the school they did nothing. I was more sad when I discover that other students have what I hadn't, even if I paid the same. That's why i'm giving a low score.

Fantastic experience: Estuve aprendiendo inglés en GCI unos meses y la verdad que la experiencia fue excelente. Galway es una ciudad llena de energía y la escuela está ubicada en el barrio de Salthill, en un sitio precioso al lado del mar y muy cerquita del centro. Los profesores son buenos profesionales, súper amigables y hacen que te sientas como en casa, a la vez que ayudan a que aprendas siguiendo un programa muy eficiente. GCI me sirvió para progresar y crecer tanto a nivel personal como laboral, solo tengo bonitas palabras sobre mi experiencia en la escuela y en Galway. Muchas gracias a todo el equipo de Galway Cultural Institute, especialmente a Celestine. Missing Galway

Positive experience: Ich habe 200... 6 Monate in diesem Institut gelernt um mich für Australien vorzubereiten. Ich bin sehr zufrieden gewesen. Die Schulleitung ist professionell. Die Gastronomie ist sehr gut. Die Lage ideal. Würde wieder dorthin gehen. Das Irish English ist in Australien und USA sehr hilfreich.

Fantastic experience: These language school is really brilliant. I attended the lessons for too weeks on an educational leave and I enjoyed learning although the different teachers and the contact with the students from different countries all over Europe. Thanks for this.

Fantastic experience: １度オーストラリアに語学留学してましたが、日本人が多すぎてあまり語学力が上がらず、当時は珍しかったアイルランドへ。夏頃はスペイン、イタリア、スイス、フランス人が過半数を占めていて、冬頃になると韓国や日本人が増えてくるといった感じでした。私は数ヶ月普通の語学コースで、その後にケンブリッジコースに移動しました。英語を本気で学ぶなら、ケンブリッジコース、本当におすすめします。日本にはほとんどないし、びっくりするくらい語学力が上がりました。しかもたくさんヨーロッパの人たちと友達になれるし、本当に楽しい時間を過ごせました。街の中心からは少し離れていますが、のどかでいい場所にあります。

Fantastic experience: Recomiendo totalmente GalwAy Cultural Institute, excelente calidad humana del personal y profesores, obtuve un avance muy significativo en mi inglés con sólo 3 meses, tuve la oportunidad de comparar dos escuelas en galway y definitivamente GCI llenó mucho más mis expectativas.

Fantastic experience: I had the chance to attend an English twoo weeks full immersion course for Italian teachers . It was really excited to stay and learn in this well organised college. All the teachers were fanrastic but I'd like to recommend James'lessons, the best lessons I've ever attended to. Thanks a lot!

Fantastic experience: My review is good but I have a fantastic experience at Gci. My family was very fantastic, I took the bus to school everyday, the food was very very nice and my family very very clean and friendly. My teachers was excellent. I did the ielts exam in December, my teachers helped me a lot for the exam. I am happy for that. The peoples working in the school were very very kind to me. Gci is a good school.

Negative experience: In my experience (advanced class for 3 weeks), some teachers spent the time on the phone while we were discussing rather than correct us. Regarding the accommodation; it doesn't matter how much you pay; you might find a place across the street or an hour by walking from the school. My host family was quite durty and not always "friendly". No reasonable solutions when I asked to change. As we pay lots of money for the courses, the school should check better and more often the family and teachers in order to ensure an appropriated quality of the services.
