Fantastic experience: I attended this school in January 2026 and had a very positive experience during my stay. The teachers are excellent and the entire school system is very appreciative and supportive. Of course, Dublin is a very beautiful city, especially for Erasmus travellers.

Negative experience: I was at that school for six months. For the price and the quality they claim to offer, all teachers should be good. However, I had teachers who did not have the vocation to teach. They only read the instructions from the book, told you to check them with your partner, and then just reviewed the answers. That was the routine, exercise after exercise, just to finish the book. Only two of the teachers I had truly had the ability and vocation to teach. For the price of the school, you can find cheaper options with the same quality of teachers.

The price may be a little high, but the quality of the classes and the atmosphere among the students make it worth attending. However, the new heating system only worked for a short time, and it was cold on some days. Because the building is historic, it may be slightly less comfortable. ------------------------------------------- I really like the bright and welcoming atmosphere of the school. The teachers and staff are friendly and always willing to help, not only with studies but also with any daily life concerns. The school has a wide range of age groups, making it a great option for adult students as well.

The small class sizes meant that I received plenty of individual support. The supplementary programme was varied and exciting. The snack bar in the basement, which serves tasty and affordable food, is also a notable feature. The school is located in the immediate vicinity of the city centre, which is about a fifteen-minute walk away. For those who need accommodation, I can recommend the Atlas Residence. It is functional and perfectly adequate for a pleasant stay.

Negative experience: I had a TERRIBLE experience at Atlas Academy. I was bullied, and none of the teachers helped me. E Even the guidance counselor ignored what was happening. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a classroom. I wasted time, money, and even had to leave my job, only to end up suffering instead of learning. And it wasn’t just me, a student who lived in the same residence also went through bullying.

Fantastic experience: Excellent school and teachers, the truth is that between work and studies I did not have time to study outside of classes, but thanks to the teachers (Bryan) and the support in classes I have been able to advance from A2 to C1, it was quite a challenge! The truth is that I am happy to have done my 3 courses with Atlas too! Regarding the Rathmines residence, for me it was perfect because it was close to the school, it has all the necessary services nearby and best of all, I didn't have to worry about food! All team in Atlas is so friendly and they have patience with you when you can't understand something and that help you because you can feel more confident every day! ❤️

Negative experience: I can't recommend this school. At all it's not too bad, but one of the teachers used foul language and spent a lot of time on idle talk. "Don't spend money on people who only think about money."

Negative experience: This school was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The afternoon classes with Maja in the B2 English level are absolutely unbearable. She is rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. Instead of teaching, she humiliates students. She literally tried to make me look stupid in front of the whole class several times, asking me why I was even in that level and telling me I should be downgraded to B1, even though I had already passed the official placement test and oral interview with the manager. She doesn’t help, she just attacks. Every single time she asked me questions it was like she was waiting for me to fail. And if I didn’t know something, she would keep pushing and pushing until I felt embarrassed. On top of that, she crossed personal boundaries and even made comments about my private life just because I used my phone, which I was actually using to look up words related to the class. That is completely unacceptable. This teacher is a disgrace. She destroyed the learning environment and made the class toxic. And it’s not only me, many students have walked out of her class because of the same behavior. Atlas School should be ashamed to have someone like this representing them.

Negative experience: I recently requested a quote from this language school for a two-week course in August. The initial offer was **680 euros**, which seemed reasonable. However, after going through the entire process, the final price skyrocketed to **over 1200 euros**! The school added every possible fee they could, including a **"summer surcharge"**, even though the original quote was specifically for August. It feels like they deliberately misled me with a low initial price only to pile on hidden costs later. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. If you're considering this school, be very careful—ask for a **full breakdown of costs upfront**, or you might end up paying almost double what you were originally quoted.

As a suggestion, I’d recommend opening a new branch or partner school specifically focused on renewals — it would be great to continue learning at the same high level after the main course ends. The school facilities are excellent — modern, well-organized, and in a great location. The classrooms can feel a bit tight when full, but it never affected my learning experience. Also, all the staff members were incredibly helpful, kind, and flexible with the students' needs. Overall, I can say the experience was totally worth the price. If you're looking for a serious school with high-quality teaching and a welcoming environment, Atlas is the right choice.

Negative experience: There are good teachers in this school, but there are a lot of unprofessional teachers who are not interested in teaching, they just come to work to get a salary, but they do not teach students, it's like studying at home. The administration needs to check the teachers when they are hired, knowledge of the language is not enough to teach others, you also need to have experience in pedagogy, especially since the money is not small for such services. I would recommend this school for a short period (a few weeks) to make friends and practice communicating with them, if you need practice in communicating in English, and grammar will be more effective to learn at home than with teachers in this school.

Positive experience: The canteen of the residence is okay (I'm italian). The English course is good. However, it is possible that in some cases, too many people of the same language are together and do not speak English, but the classes are designed to solve this problem. Anyway, Dublin is a very nice city. The sea is nice, the weather is mild, especially compared to Italian weather in August, and the residence where I lived was in a good location in the city. Don't try Italian restaurants; instead, try the local food: they know how to cook.
