Positive experience: The IELTS website said to arrive one hour before the exam, but when I got there, I had to wait for a while before anyone opened the door. Actually, arriving half an hour early would have been enough. There was only one bathroom and it didn’t have running water. The staff spoke too fast, so I couldn’t understand something they said. The exam itself went fine, though.

Negative experience: Our experience with International House Dublin has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. We had three groups of students aged 12 to 15 who attended their program, and despite assurances that accommodations would be well-organized and appropriate, we encountered serious issues that severely impacted our students’ welfare. Several students were placed more than an hour away from the school, despite prior promises of more convenient housing. This caused unnecessary stress and fatigue for young students who should not have been subjected to such long commutes. To make matters worse, some of these host families were not Garda-vetted, lacked experience in hosting minors, and clearly had no training in dealing with young international students. The treatment of our students was unacceptable. Reports from several students indicated they were served subpar food, with some meals being spoiled or inedible. The lack of care and oversight was evident, and our attempts to address these issues were met with indifference. International House Dublin failed to acknowledge or accept liability for these serious concerns, showing a complete disregard for student safety and well-being. It was clear that their priority was profit, not the care of the students entrusted to them. If you are considering booking groups with International House Dublin, we strongly urge caution. The lack of professionalism, failure to deliver on promises, and inadequate safeguarding measures made this a regrettable and frustrating experience for our organization. For anyone seeking a reliable, student-focused experience, this is not the place to entrust your groups.

Fantastic experience: This is my third time taking a course in International House, but first one in this location (Dublin). I have loved the experience. Teachers are great and very caring. I would 10000% recommend. Also you get to meet people from all over the world, which can be very fun.

Negative experience: *DON'T* book your exam here, they'll postpone it as many times as it takes until you finally give up and cancel it. My exam was postponed three times due to "technical issues", when in fact they're just too lazy to make it happen. If you need your results for college or work, you'll never get admitted or hired, so AVOID this place if you don't want to miss out on studying or career opportunities like I just did after almost TWO MONTHS of waiting. I can't stress this enough, STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.

All teachers use individual methods, each with their own personal approach to presenting the material. And it’s so COOL, interesting, intriguing, exciting and you are completely immersed in the atmosphere of the lesson. It's a shame that only Dublin hosts such events. There are many who want to attend your classes, but, unfortunately, it is not possible due to their place of residence. Negative experience: There are few good teachers. Unfortunately management is a disgrace. They are never helpful. Disappointed

Negative experience: I've had five months and it was the worst five months I've ever had. The lack of materials is terrible! When there is an exam, they cannot provide anything printed. I can't even talk about how full the school is! The building looks very nice, doesn't it? There are at least 2 other institutions in the same building, so you spend all your time waiting in line at the canteen. There is no heater and the windows are never fully closed. I definitely do not recommend it, there are many language schools in Dublin, I am sure you can find much better quality ones for the same price.
